- 1 lb (500 g) skinless, boneless Turkey Thighs (about 2 lbs/1 kg with bone)
- 4 Green Onions, chopped
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper, seeded and diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 tsp (20 mL) Lime Juice
- 4 tsp (20 mL) Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp (10 mL) grated Ginger Root
- 2 tsp (10 mL) ground Cumin
- 1 tsp (5 mL) ground Coriander
- 1 tsp (5 mL) ground Allspice
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried Thyme
- Directions
- Cut turkey into bite-size thin squares. Mix remaining ingredients together for marinade. Stir turkey into marinade until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 8 hours to marinate. Thread on 8 to 10 previously soaked bamboo skewers. Grill or broil 5” (13 cm) from heat about 3 to 4 minutes per side or just until done. Be careful not to overcook. Serve garnished with tropical fruits as an appetizer or with traditional rice and peas as a main course.
