Ingredients
1 large Onion, chopped
½ lb (250 g) fresh Mushrooms, sliced
½ cup (125 mL) Butter
¼ cup (50 mL) Pecans
¼ cup (50 mL) Filberts
¼ cup (50 mL) Almond slivers
2 cups (500 mL) dried Bread Crumbs
½ cup (125 mL) Celery, chopped
1 tbsp (15 mL) Poultry Seasoning
Directions
In a saucepan, combine butter, onion and mushrooms. Sauté until tender. Add pecans, filberts and almond slivers and mix well. Remove from heat. In a large bowl, add bread crumbs, celery and poultry seasoning. Gently mix the two combinations together and stuff into prepared turkey cavity. Nutrient analysis is per ½ cup (125 ml) serving (not taking into account fat absorbed during roasting).
