Rajin’ Cajun Turkey Breasts

- 4 6 oz (175 g) each Turkey Breast Steaks or sliced Turkey Breast
- 2 tbsp (25 mL) melted Butter
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Oil
- 2 tsp (10 mL) cracked Black Pepper
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Onion Powder
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Paprika
- 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL ) Salt
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried Thyme
- ½ tsp (2 mL) Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp (2 mL) ground Cumin
- ½ tsp (2 mL) Cayenne Pepper
- Directions
- Flatten turkey steaks to ½ inch (1 cm) thickness; brush with butter. In small bowl mix together remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over both sides of turkey to coat well. Heat oil in a heavy bottom skillet over medium-high heat. Cook turkey 2 to 3 minutes per side or until no longer pink. (It will smoke a bit.)

- For a real taste teaser, serve Rajin’ Cajun Turkey sliced or cubed as the crowning touch on a Caesar salad or your favourite crispy green salad.
